FAQs

Q: Will my service levels change?

A: No – it is our intention to maintain and improve service times. By offering a dedicated exchange network our aim is to ensure that delivery times are synchronised so that the earlier delivery option will prevail.

Q: Will the operation and the numbering system change?

A: In the short term there will be no changes, it’s business as usual at Legal Post.  You can communicate with all existing members as you currently do. We will look to simplify the process moving forward and work with a single addressing system across Scotland and the rest of the UK and Ireland.  All changes will be clearly explained as and when they are introduced.

Q: What benefits will there be to customers?

A: Legal Post members will be able to send mail to DX members and vice versa, information on the launch of this feature will be published on the website soon – as well as communication to members via their Exchange service.  DX currently has 25,000 members across Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland that will now become accessible to Legal Post members.  In the short term mail from one network to another may add an extra day to delivery, however as the businesses integrate all mail will become a next day delivery as standard.

Q: Will prices increase?

A: Both Legal Post and DX are focussed on supplying exemplary mail services to their members at a discount to Royal Mail prices.  DX currently seeks to maintain a 20% discount to Royal Mail stamp prices for all sizes of mail – this commitment will continue as DX and Legal Post operate as a combined network.
