DX (Group) plc delivers 22/23 Half Season Tickets

Valued Club Partner DX kindly donated a number of half season tickets, in association with Barnsley FC's Together Red initiative.

Dodworth Miners Welfare U9's were chosen as the recipients of the tickets donated by DX, providing the future of Barnsley with free access to Oakwell for the remainder of this exciting Sky Bet League One campaign.

Before our Sky Bet League One fixture with Accrington Stanley, Paul Ibbetson of DX Group and members of the Dodworth Miners Welfare U9's team had a photo with our very own Jamie Searle upon presenting the tickets to the team.

Paul Ibbetson, Managing Director of DX Freight, said: "We are proud to have donated half season tickets to some of the team at Dodworth Miners Welfare," he began.

"To be able to give the experience of watching live football at Oakwell to the next generation of Barnsley fans is a great privilege and we thank the Club for all their help in making this happen."

Barnsley CEO, Khaled El-Ahmad, added: "We would like to thank DX for their kind gesture and fantastic support throughout the season.

"A donation like this helps provide access to live football to a wider scope of our local community and engage the future generations of Reds supporters. We hope that the children and families from Dodworth Miners Welfare enjoy their experience at Oakwell and make memories that last a lifetime thanks to the generosity of DX."

Under the Together Red initiative, several Club partners have generously donated half season tickets to local families in the town. Car Seekers provided five children attending the Momentous Football Academy with seats at Oakwell, along with an adult, for the rest of the 22/23 season.
