This page is only available to Administrators at your organisation, if you need any changes made to your account, please contact them.

Users For… selector

This drop-down menu allows you to choose within which DX Address you want to perform the changes, should your organisation have more than one DX Box registered with Exchange Portal.


This page shows all the users for the selected DX Address. As an admin there are several actions you can perform.

Invite User
  • Click on the Invite User button in the top-left corner of the page
  • Type their email address and select Add
  • A notification will confirm that the invitation was successfully sent
Invite Multiple users
  • Click on the Invite Multiple Users button
  • Download the .csv template file if you don’t already have one and fill it in (all email addresses of the people you wish to add in column A of the file)
  • Select Upload user list, browse for the filled in .csv template, and click Open
  • Click on Proceed. All email addresses in the file will receive an invitation to register for Exchange Portal

A suspended user will not be able to access the Exchange Portal until the suspension is lifted, but their files, folders and shares will be preserved.

To suspend a user:

  • Click on the Three horizontal dots menu at the far right of the user’s row
  • Select Suspend and then Proceed
  • You will see a notification and the Status of the user change from Accepted to Suspended
  • To reinstate a user, follow the same procedure and select Reactivate
Assign/Unassign Postmaster
  • Click on the Three horizontal dots menu at the far right of the user’s row
  • Select Assign Postmaster
  • You will receive a notification

To revoke Postmaster clearance, follow the same procedure and select Unassign Postmaster.

Start Password Reset

If a user loses their password, you can initiate a reset using the Recovery Key that was generated during the organisation setup process. To reset a user’s password:

  • Click on the Three horizontal dots menu at the far right of the user’s row
  • Select Start Password Reset
  • Input the Organisation Recovery Key and select Proceed
  • A password reset link will be emailed to the user
Delete User Account

You can choose to delete a user’s account from Exchange Portal. This is different from suspending because all data and active shares will be lost. To delete an account:

  • Click on the Three horizontal dots menu at the far right of the user’s row
  • Select Delete User Account
  • Please read the warning message carefully, and click Proceed if you wish to carry on with the operation
Monitor Invitations

From this page you can monitor active invitations and re-send expired ones.


Assign New Postmaster

  • Click on "Assign new Postmaster" at the top of the screen
  • Select the appropriate organisation address from the list 
  • You can then select one of the users registered for that address and press "assign".

Remove Postmaster

To remove a postmaster, simply click on the X to the far right of the user you want to remove. 


Profile Details

Click on profile details to access information regarding: 

  • DX Member information
  • The Default Administrator (and a list of all admin users)
  • Your current Plan (number of licenses and allocated storage)
  • Usage details (number of users, downloaded/uploaded data and total storage use (MB))
  • Payment Frequency 
  • Payment Method
  • Terms Agreement  

Login Activity

Use this section to view the recent login activity for your organisation such as:

  • Which users logged in and when 
  • The browser they used
  • The location they logged in from
  • This can be xeported as CSV if you wish to do further analysis

Audit Logs

This section enables you to view all uses logs for your organisation, spo you can view the activity of all users on the Exchange Portal. This is only available to download as a CSV spreadsheet which provides information regarding: 

  • CreateDate of the log
  • Executor Email/Display Name/Role of User
  • Event Log Type
  • Type of Activity and name of Target type
  • Context of the data
