Planning for a potential No Deal Brexit
Customers planning to send items into Eire should apply for an Economic Operator Registration and Identification (EORI) number.
As part of DX’s preparation and contingency planning for a potential no-deal Brexit, we strongly advise all our customers sending or planning to send items into Eire after 29 March to apply for an Economic Operator Registration and Identification (EORI) number.
In the event of a no-deal Brexit, DX will require this when exporting your goods to Eire and importing goods from Eire. For more information and guidance on how to obtain your EORI number visit this UK Gov site.
DX will continue to send further updates in the coming weeks as we get closer to a potential no-deal Brexit, but be assured DX is working hard to ensure any changes are as seamless as possible to you and your customers.
Please contact your DX account manager if you have any concerns, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
