Four couriers from DX, a leading independent mail, parcels and logistics end-to-end network operator in the UK and Ireland, took home the prestigious Courier ‘Silver C’ award at the 2015 National Courier Awards in recognition of their dedication and commitment.
The Annual National Courier Awards, now in its 19th year, recognises excellence in the courier industry within regional and national companies, from large to small scale. DX’s couriers received the awards in recognition of coming top in each category from almost 150 nominations made nationwide.
Both DX’s two wheeled and four wheeled couriers were recognised for their laudable service: pedal bike courier Reimo Heistein won in the Two Wheels category for his dedication to the provision of service; in the Four Wheel category Gareth Morris won his commitment to the depot; Roger Paisley for being DX’s longest serving 3.5t driver in the fleet; and courier Balbir Singh for his excellent customer relationships and dedication to DX. The awards evening was presided over by Viscount Lord Faulkland, President of the Institute of Couriers.
James Timberlake, Head of Marketing at DX, commented:
“We are delighted to see the hard work and dedication of our employees and drivers recognised by the National Courier Awards this year. To see them celebrated by the Institute of Couriers is a true testament to our shared commitment of great customer service.”
